Hello. There is an optional extension that I think would be useful for this wiki, but we would need to request its activation by Wikia staff. The DynamicPageList extension would help us automate some of the more tedious work and keep information accurate. For example, a lot of item pages include a list of recipes that require that item. But the lists are often incomplete and tedious to update manually. The extension could be used to create and update these lists, based on specific defined conditions, so that it automatically adds new items whenever a page qualifies. Do you think we could get this extension activated?
You have been doing an awesome job! I really like the new layout of the homepage. I have deliberated greatly on your request. One the one side you have done really wonderful things for the page in its structure and layout. Is there a page you haven't touched? For that I am truly grateful. On the other hand, your account is very new. I have experienced a wave of excitement and changes then silence. I would be willing to make you an admin if you are still active after a couple months rather than a couple weeks.
Can you help me please? I dont find any information about how to get started withbth7snmod. i installed it (and see all the new items in creative mode menus) but i want to use this mod with a world i created before installing the mod. how can i get the new seeds and fruits there?
Hi! So if I understand correctly, you have a world that has already generated and you added HarvestCraft afterwards. If this is the case, you need to venture out and find new, unloaded chunks to find Gardens which will help you get seeds/Crops. Trees will naturally spawn in certain biomes. The easiest way to get new trees is to grow Crops, sell them in the Shipping Bin and purchase saplings through the Market with emeralds.
Hope this helps!
Thank you! Got another question now though: Is the world generator overwritten by this mod, meaning that there will be borders on the map that look like this ? Or will the World generator not be touched in that bad way and I will still be able to find Gardens? (This is the main reason I keep away from using mods in existing Worlds)
Pam's HarvestCraft does not affect terrain. You will need to search out previously unloaded chunks to find Garden varieties and pre-generated Trees but can bring them back to your already existing base where they will grow as normal.
Thank you so much. Im now using this mod. Sadly I quickly noticed, that I'm unable to place Rice on water :( Ive tried everything that was mentioned here except the glitchy ideas of quickly clicking anything with bonemeal: http://harvestcraftmod.wikia.com/wiki/Rice
Check out your Admin Dashboard, which can by found by clicking "Admin" on the bottom toolbar -- it has links to all your new tools. Please let me know if you have any questions, and good luck with your new (old) wiki!
I couldn't figure out how template talks worked so I'm replying here.
The 32x32 images I got from Minecraft (with the mod) using screen captures and Photoshop. I've been saving the images one Wiki page at a time so I don't get overwhelmed.I have a complete list of these in a psd format if you'd like a copy. :)
I would love a copy! I have enjoyed the simplistic way you formatted the pages (aestetically, flow of information, etc) and I would love to help update all the crops and trees. I would really like to see the front page have a crops and trees link but I don't think we are quite ready without the crops and trees being updated sufficiently. I don't think Wikia has a private chat function to send personal inforamtion but maybe a google drive link or drop box option. Let me know :)
That's great to know. :D The help would be awesome, thank you.
Here's a Dropbox link (removed). Let me know when you're done with it so I can take it down. :)
P.S.: Something to note is that I only have version 1.7.10Lb, so items that come after that won't show up. Also, there's no labels so I often have to consult creative mode to know which one is which haha. I got the images using the NEI (Not Enough Items) mod.
I do these steps so that the images keep the correct margins instead of being centered in the picture:
1. Merge the Transparent layer with the Grid layer. (These are separated at first so you can change the color of the Grid layer.)
2. Select the 32x32 pixel box within the black grid lines.
3. Copy the selected area and paste onto a new 32x32 file.
4. Use the magic wand to select the areas that should be transparent and press Delete to remove the 'background'.
Great! I have saved the file and will do my first attempt my tomorrow! (I'm novice at this so there may be a slight learning curve). I will work on getting 1.7.10 first then the 1.9.4 and newer. Thanks for all your help setting everything up!
