Tomatoes are fruits which have a chance of being obtained by breaking a Shaded Garden. Tomato seeds can be crafted by placing a tomato into a crafting grid. The seeds can also drop when destroying grass, however this option must be enabled in the Config, as it is disabled by default.

After obtaining a tomato or its seeds, the player can then plant them on farmland. Once the tomato plant has grown, the player can right-click on the bush to have it drop 1-4 tomatoes. The bush will then revert one stage of growth, allowing more tomatoes to grow and be harvested at a later time.
